REMOVAL OF MINISTER OF POLICE "MR FIKILE MBALULA"

The recent cabinet reshuffle made by the new South African president has left some people talking. President Cyril Ramaphosa removed Mr Fikile Mbalula as the minister of police, and appointed Mr Bheki Cele as the new minister. The people of South Africa are unhappy with newly appointed minister who is known of "shoot to kill" instruction to police officers. Even though the removed minister used inappropriate language but he was doing his job.The is no hope that Bheki Cele will change the way of doing his job, i think the "shoot to kill"instruction will continue.

I want know according to our views is this a good thing for our country, how are we going to live with the fear of being shot by one`s who are meant to protect us.

My view is that the police officers must "shoot to kill" only if he/she is being attacked.

  2. Yes they may back up their brutal ways by saying that they are doing their jobs but they do not notice that they are also breaking the law because every person has a right to live .Who are they to play God and decide who lives and dies?
